Pack Completes First Day at UNC Fall Invite

Chapel Hill, N.C. – Three members of the NC State men’s tennis team took to the courts for the Pack on the first day of play at the UNC Fall Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C., on Friday, Sept. 28. Pack netters competed in the two doubles and three singles bouts, dropping just one decision.
Frideric Prandecki and David Rozek topped South Carolina’s Supeko/Wolf combo, 8-4, in the first round of doubles before falling to Insuralde/Picardo of East Tennessee State, 8-0.
In singles play, Rozek downed Matt Stillwagon of Richmond, 6-3, 6-4, in the Green B1 flight. Prandecki followed with a win, 6-2, 7-5, in his debut singles bout with the Pack, besting Wofford’s Austin Webb in the Orange C1 flight. In the Red C2 bracket, Daniel Schinke also won his NC State debut, coming from behind to defeat Dave Perren of High Pont, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
NC State will continue play tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 30, at the second day of the UNC Fall Invitational.
