Blair Continues to Lead at Carpet Capital Collegiate

Raleigh, N.C. – With only one round to play, sophomore Darren Blair of the NC State men’s golf team continues to lead the field in the Pack’s first tournament of the year, the Carpet Capital Collegiate being held in Rock Face, Ga. Blair shot a 3-under (69) on Saturday, to bring his tournament total to 10-under par, a two shot lead going into Sunday’s final round. The Wolfpack currently is tied for fifth place overall, after shooting a one-under today to bring the Pack to 4-under for the tournament.
Sophomore Nathan Spoon finished even par on the day, with a total of three birdies. Jerry Richardson matched his score from yesterday, and was one-over par. Andrew Byrd matched that score with his own 1-over par, while freshman Brad Revell shot a 9-over par.
