Richardson, Lewton Lead Pack In First Round

AWENDAW, S.C. - Jerry Richardson and Stephen Lewton shot three strokes over par in the first round of the Hootie at Bulls Bay men's golf tournament, leading NC State at the par 71 Bulls Bay Golf Club on Sunday. The Wolfpack sits in 13th place after 18 holes at 14 over.
Garry Hill and Darren Blair both trail Richardson and Lewton by one stroke and are tied for 41st place. Nathan Spoon signed an incorrect scorecard and disqualified his first round.
Wake Forest leads the field of 15 after the first round and the Demon Deacons' Doug Manchester is tied for first place individually with Eirik Tage Johansen from South Carolina at four under.
