Wolfpack Medley Drops Time, Claims Eight More Team Points

NC State men's swimming took eight more team points with a fifth place finish in the consolation final of the 200 medley relay on Friday night at the NCAA Championships. Kevin Velleca, Dan Velez, Steven Cowling, and Cullen Jones swam a 1:28.02 to move up and collect the points. As a team, they have 28 points and stand in 15th place heading into the final day of competition on Saturday.
The Wolfpack is the top ranked ACC team in the meet through seven events.
Jones swam an 18.80 on the 50 free anchor split, the second fastest anchor split among the 16 schools competing in the event.
