After coach bought us dinner and ice cream Saturday night, we were all fat and happy. That night was pretty laid back in the hotel; a little homework and a lot of rest. The next morning we woke up to sunshine and wind as we headed downstairs for breakfast. We devoured our breakfast at the Marriott restaurant and left nothing behind.
When we got to the field we hung out on the bus for a few minutes before it was time to go warm up. We took our turn hitting and then took ground balls and fly balls, trying to deal with the wind and the soaked outfield. After being announced as "JAN Pyron" the first day, today, it was, "Jay JYRON." They'll get it right someday, but until then, JAN JYRON will always make us smile.
After a tough doubleheader we loaded the bus, grabbed some McAllister's, and headed home. We had a long bus ride awaiting us. It was a fairly quiet ride home, except for Patrick blowing his nose constantly and sneezing non-stop. We watched a movie and prepared for a busy week ahead of us academically. Midterms, here we come!
