We left Friday for our first bus ride of the year. South Carolina was our destination down in Columbia, S.C. Everyone piled on the bus with pillows and blankets in hand. Boo (Miranda Ervin) had a little more than most of us, as usual. We thought at first she even brought her sheet set. As always there was a fight for the back few seats.
Midterms are next week and, as I should be studying, I begin my first nap of the trip. I promise to study on the way home! Most everyone is watching the movie that they played super loud. They act like we can't hear. But guess who is sitting right behind me being the super studious kid that she is. It would have to be G-BO (Heather Gelbard)! She had the light on of course. Way to impede on my sleep.
The games were moved up a couple hours due to the expected rain. Well they were right. As soon as the announcer was done calling out the starting lineups he announced the coaches; when he came to Jay he called him Jan Pyron. What a good laugh!
Immediately after we took the field the rain began to fall. This continued the whole game. After dinner tonight we went for a special treat, Marble Slab ICE CREAM for everyone. Coach Navas said she is just trying to bribe us for a few more hits! Hahaha!
And well my lovely, sweet roommate has been bugging me to write about her in my diary. So here goes.... Lisa Nentwig is the best!
