Wolfpack Women's Swimming Wraps Up Terp Cup Invitational

The Wolfpack women's swimming team finished 11th at the Terrapin Cup Invite behind the performances of a pair of seniors in Lindsay Barwegen and Kerry Whitson and a host of their NC State teammates in College Park, Md.
Barwegen finished ninth in the 1650 freestyle with a 16:59.26, the fastest time in the ACC by an impressive over 25 seconds.
Anna Linkenauger finished top-20 in the 200 backstroke with a 2:03.96, the sixth fastest time in the ACC this season.
Whitson finished in the top-15 in the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.11. Her earlier time of 51.91 in the prelims in on the outskirts of the ACC top-10.
The quartet of Patrice Dason, Lucy Lindsey, Martha Marino and Whitson turned in a time of 3:30.22 to finish 11th in the 400 freestyle.
