Yow's 2006 Recruiting Class Ranked 10th in Nation

NC State women's basketball's signing class of 2006 has been ranked 10th in the nation according to All Star Girls Report. The signing class set to being play at NC State in 2006-07 also has four players ranked in the Top 25 by position. The six signees, who all signed a national letter of intent to play at NC State in November, are listed among the top players in the country.
Five-foot-seven point guard Amber White is ranked 21st overall among the nation's leading playmakers. Additionally, she is sixth by position. Future teammate, Nikitta Gartrell, a 5-10 guard, is 33rd in the nation overall and ranked 10th by position. Also making the list were Sharnise Beal and Lucy Ellison. Beal is a 5-9 point guard ranked 54th in the country and 14th by position. While Ellison stands at 6-foot-1 as a power forward and is ranked 63rd overall and 11th by position.
NC State also signed Chanita Jordan, a 6-4 center ranked 199th and Megan Zullo, a 5-9 point guard and the group's only North Carolina native, ranked 238th.
