Lewton Ties For 19th At Cardinal Amateur

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Stephen Lewton led a group of NC State golfers playing in the Cardinal Amateur August 12-14 at the par 70 Cardinal Golf and Country Club. Lewton tied for 19th place at two over-par, firing 66-73-73.

Jerry Richardson tied for 28th at four-over with scores of 73-69-72, Jace Strandberg tied for 38th at seven-over with scores of 73-71-73 and Garry Hill finished nine-over.

Former Wolfpack golfer Roy Hunter tied for 34th place at six-over with scores of 77-69-70. Complete results from the Cardinal Amateur are available at www.cardinalgolf.com.
