Four Wolfpack Golfers Make Cut At Eastern Am

PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Four members of the NC State men's golf team made the cut after the first two rounds of the Eastern Amateur Golf Tournament at the Elizabeth Manor Golf & Country Club in Portsmouth, Va., on July 8. Garry Hill followed a first round 72 with a 69 on Friday. Jace Strandberg and Chase Duncan both opened play with 69s and Andrew Byrd carded a first round 70. All four Wolfpack golfers will compete Saturday and Sunday in the final two rounds.
Banks Wood fired a 72 in the second round but missed the cut, along with teammate Carter Cheves.
