Ballerano Upsets Two-Time Southern Champion

Lorraine Ballerano upset a two-time Southern champion at the Southern Am to advance to the round of 16

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Lorraine Ballerano, a rising senior on the NC State women's golf team, upset two-time Southern champion, Martha Lang, 5 and 4 Tuesday in the Championship Division round of 32 at the 90th Women's Southern Amateur. Ballerano, a Myrtle Beach, S.C., native, advances to the round of 16 at the par 72 Dear Creek Course at the Landings Club.
