Crosby Six Over After First Round In Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. - The NC State men's golf team began action in the Augusta State Invitational presented by Administaff Saturday morning at the par 72 Forest Hills Golf Club. Thirty-two strokes over par on the first round of 18 holes, the Wolfpack is tied for 15th place. Taylor Crosby carded a six-over round to lead the team and is tied for 22nd.
Jerry Richardson trails Crosby by two strokes, while Jeremy Langdale and Stephen Lewton are both nine over after the first round. Garry Hill is also competing for NC State.
A two-day event, the second round has been postponed until Sunday morning because of dangerous winds. The third round will begin immediately after the second round, late Sunday morning.
East Tennessee State leads the field of 18 at 15-over and the Bucs' Ryhs Davies is in first place individually at two-under. Complete results from the tournament, including live scoring, are available at www.golfstat.com.
