Gunning To Run 5k At NCAA Championships Friday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Renee Gunning, a senior distance runner on the NC State women's indoor track & field team will be competing in the 5,000m run Friday at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. The lone representative for the Wolfpack, Gunning owns the ninth-fastest time in the 5k this season, a 16:06.37 ran at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational Feb. 5 at the New York Armory. The race begins at 7:50 p.m., Friday night and results will be posted at www.NCAASports.com.
