Yow to Miss Game at Wake Forest

RALEIGH, N.C. - North Carolina State head coach Kay Yow will not travel with the team to Winston-Salem for this evening's game against Wake Forest due to the flu, team medical officials announced today.
Associate head coach Stephanie Glance will assume coaching duties in Yow's absence.
Yow missed Tuesday's Atlantic Coast Conference coaches conference call and was not at the team's practice on Tuesday or Wednesday, and has chosen to distance herself physically from the team so as to not put the players and staff at risk of contracting the flu as well.
The Hall of Fame head coach is in her 30th season as the head coach of the Wolfpack, 19-6 and 8-4 in conference play. She owns a record of 615-287 at NC State and is 672-306 overall in 34 seasons.
