Pebble Beach, Calif. - Tim Clark finished one-under-par to tie for fourth place at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am this past weekend, earning $233,200 in his third straight top-four finish in 2005.
The former NC State golfer won the South African Airways Open Jan. 23 in his native country, then hopped on a plane and spent some 50 hours traveling, and waiting between connections, on his way to La Quinta, Calif., where he caught up with the PGA Tour at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. Tying for second place in the five-day event that ended Jan. 30, Clark earned $413,600.
With his finish at Pebble Beach Feb. 13, he has won $646,800 in two PGA events this year and ranks first on the tour in scoring average (67.89) and driving accuracy percentage (79.7).
