Strandberg Wins Dogfight At The Neuse

CLAYTON, N.C. - Four members of the NC State men's golf team competed as individuals at Barton College's tournament, Dogfight At The Neuse, Oct. 3-4 at the par 72 Neuse Golf Club in Clayton, N.C. and placed three in the top three. Sophomore Jace Strandberg won the tournament, finishing two strokes under par, freshman Nathan Spoon fired one under to take second place and sophomore Chase Duncan shot even par to tie for third place.
Duncan carded the best round of the tournament to lead the field after 18 holes with a 68. Freshman Wesley Tucker finished six over and tied for 14th.
