Molly Culberson dove back in the pool the way she left off, and freshman Austin Hampton was strong in his debut for the men's team at the Carolina Diving Invite. The team performed well, as Culberson finished first overall at the event. The diving team did not complete its full list, diving only partial sets of dives unlike a normal meet setting. The men's and women's swimming and diving teams get into action this Saturday, Oct. 15 as they travel to Durham to face Duke and William & Mary.
"It was very early in the season and I was satisfied with where we are and how the divers handled themselves," head diving coach Mike Finneran said.
