Track's Fant Named ACC Athlete of the Week

Raleigh, N.C. - NC State's Felicia Fant of the NC State track and field team was named the ACC's Athlete of the Week for her performance in the Pack's first outdoor meet of the season this past weekend. Fant finished first in both the women's 100m and 200m dash events over the weekend at the 49ers Classic in Charlotte, N.C. The senior competing in her hometown of Charlotte, N.C. recorded a new school in the 100m dash crossing the finish line in a time of 11.43. In the 200m, Fant claimed victory in a time of 23.68. Both times qualified Fant for the NCAA Regional meet to be held May 28-29.
