Q & A with Kristin Lam

RALEIGH, N.C. - After being sidelined for much of the 2002-03 season with an injury to her right knee, senior Kristin Lam bounced back last year and helped to lead the Pack during her junior campaign. A native of Hilton Head, S.C., Lam recently sat down with GoPack.com and offered fans of Wolfpack women's tennis an opportunity to get to know her.
Q: Do you have any nicknames?
A: "Lammy."
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: "Rush Hour."
Q: Do you have a favorite TV show?
A: "I love the Cosby Show."
Q: What about a favorite actress?
A: "I really like Ashley Judd."
Q: What about your favorite food?
A: "Anything my mom cooks!"
Q: What is your favorite Coach Olsen saying?
A: "Just play your game and have fun."
Q: Where do you hang out the most on campus?
A: "Probably in our locker room at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Complex."
Q: We've heard that you are a big fan of ice cream. Do you have a favorite flavor?
A: "Jamocha!"
Q: What type of career do you plan to pursue upon graduating?
A: "I would really try to play pro tennis for a couple of years and then open a restaurant or some type of business."
Q: Do you have any odd talents that you would like to share with us?
A: "Well, it's not very odd, but I am a really good cook!"
Q: Do you have a certain tennis player that you aspire to play like?
A: "Monica Seles."
Q: What has been the most memorable moment for you so far at NC State?
A; "Winning my first match after being out for a year and a half."
Q: Do you have any goals for the upcoming season?
A: "I just want to do well for my team, my school and my family."
