Men's Soccer Earns Tie at No. 10 Boston College

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The NC State men's soccer team earned a hard fought 0-0 tie against No. 10 Boston College Saturday night at Chestnut Hill, Mass. NC State's Jorge Gonzalez recorded his fourth shutout this season with six saves on the night, as the Pack (6-7-2) once again earned a top result against a top-10 squad. NC State is now 1-1-2 against teams ranked in the top-10 nationally this season, having defeated No. 6 Duke and also tying No. 2 Maryland.
The Eagles (11-3-2) held the advantage in the shot category, 17-11. BC's Issey Maholo earned the shutout for BC with three saves.
NC State had its best opportunity to win the game in the last minute and a half of regulation. The Wolfpack earned three corner kicks in the final 90 seconds, but were repeatedly turned away by BC defenders
NC State will conclude its three-game road trip with a match at Campbell Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.
