Men's Soccer Falls at Charlotte 2-1

Charlotte, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team fell at Charlotte 2-1 Wednesday night. The 49ers (9-5-1) scored in the eighth minute for the early lead, and went on to score the game winner with under seven minutes to play. Junior Aaron King would net the lone goal for the Wolfpack (6-7-1) in the 52nd minute off assists from Laye Traore and Ernesto Di Laudo. NC State had to play all but five minutes of the second half a man down due to a red card.
NC State's Jorge Gonzalez came up big in the Wolfpack nets with 12 saves.
NC State will face yet another top ranked team this weekend, when the Wolfpack travels to No. 10 Boston College for a Saturday night game.
