RALEIGH, N.C. - At Palmetto Senior High, Lisa Nentwig played a key role in the team's 2003 state championship. In four years under coach Gator Rebhan, Nentwig held down the top spot in the batting lineup, collecting 39 stolen bases and drilling 22 doubles. With a career batting average of .333, Nentwig earned all-state honors, was an all-Dade first team selection and wrapped up a spot on the 2003 all-tournament team during state championships. A native of Miami, Fla., the speedy shortstop jumped at the chance to run with the Pack and compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
