Rivers Named MVP of Senior Bowl

Wearing his decorated NC State helmet for the final time, Philip Rivers completed 12-of-19 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns, leading the South to a 28-10 victory over the North in the annual Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. Rivers, who finished his career as the second leading passer in NCAA history, was named the game's Most Valuable Player. Wolfpack seniors Jerricho Cotchery and Sean Locklear also participated in the annual college all-star game.
