Athlon Names Six from Pack Football to Preseason Honors

RALEIGH, N.C. – A total of six players of the 2026 Wolfpack football squad earned preseason All-ACC honors from Athlon Sports.
Running back Duke Scott led the way, being named to both the second team as a running back and the third team as a kick returner.
Quarterback CJ Bailey and offensive lineman Spike Sowells were named Third Team All-ACC Offense, while on the defensive side of the ball, linebacker Harvey Dyson was also Third Team All-ACC in his first year with the Pack.
Rounding out the fourth team were offensive lineman Teague Andersen and defensive back Brian Nelson.
This will be the second preseason honor for Scott, Bailey, and Dyson, after each was named to Phil Steele's Preseason ACC Team.
