Eight From Pack Football Named to Phil Steel’s Preseason ACC Team

RALEIGH, N.C. – Eight members of the 2026 Wolfpack football team have been named to Phil Steele's preseason All-ACC team.
The Wolfpack is represented on all sides of the ball, with center Spike Sowells leading the way as a second-team selection. On offense, quarterback CJ Bailey (3rd) and offensive tackle Jimarion McCrimon (4th) also earned recognition.
On defense, Tulane transfer Harvey Dyson and cornerback Brian Nelson earned third-team recognition, and linebacker Popo Aguirre was named to the fourth team in his first season with the Pack.
Both Duke Scott and Victor Snow received third-team honors on special teams, with Scott as a kick returner and Snow as a punt returner. Head coach Dave Doeren recently announced that Scott will wear the No. 1 jersey this season for the Wolfpack.
