Pack Holds to Finish 14th at Mason Rudolph

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - NC State turned in a final card of 937 to finish in 14th at the Mason Rudolph Classic on Sunday. On a day when only four tournament participants broke par, players struggled with cold and windy consitions on the course. The Pack's Ashlee Dean had the low round on the day with a 79 on the par 72, 6,302-yard course.
Georgia surpassed UCLA for the team title after firing a third-round score of 293 for a three-round total of 874. Arizona's Erica Blasberg maintained the lead to take the individual medalist honors with a total of 213, three-under for the tournament.
Briana Vega held the Wolfpack's low card for the three-round tournament with a 232 after rounds of 71-78-83. The senior finished tied for 46th. Molly Birmingham took a share of 53rd, just two strokes back from Vega, with a final total of 234. Lorraine Ballerano added a stroke to finishtied for 57th with a 235. Dean completed scoring for the Pack on it's final day of play with a total of 237 and a share of 65th. Erica Wein finished tied for 78th at 243.
The Pack will make a quick turnaround and compete in the Franklin Street Partners Invitational in Chapel Hill.
