
Pack 11th After First Round of Mason Rudolph Classic

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Briana Vega is tied for sixth through 18 holes at the Mason Rudolph Classic, while the Wolfpack stands in 11th with a score of 301. The senior was one of only three individuals to shoot a 33 on the front nine, and finished the day at one-under par with a 71. UCLA is atop the leaderboard and boasts the individual leader, Hannah Jun. Jun shot a 67 on the day and is three strokes under a group tied for second.
Lorraine Ballerano fired the team's low score on the back nine with a 36 to give her a 75 on the day and a share of 34th with teammate Molly Birmingham.
Erica Wein is tied for 71st with an 80, and Ashlee Dean is one stroke back and tied for 77th.
Action will resume at 7:30 Saturday morning with teams teeing off of the first and 10th tees. The Pack will start from the first hole and will be paired with Tulane and various individual competitors. Complete tournament information can be accessed at www.vucommodores.com.
