NC State Volleyball Battles East Carolina Tuesday Night

The NC State volleyball team returns home Tuesday as it plays host to non-conference foe East Carolina in a match set for 7 p.m.
The Wolfpack (1-12) will look to middle blockers Maya Mapp and Sarah Ensminger to lead its attack against the Pirates. Mapp leads the team in both attack percentage (.252) and kills (114), while Ensminger leads the team in total blocks with 47 and has 102 kills to her credit. Sophomore setter Lindi Sheppard has also been a factor for NC State, totaling 406 assists thus far.
As for the opposition, East Carolina enters Reynolds Coliseum with a record of 2-9 and has dropped four consecutive matches. Senior middle blocker Robyn Drewes (.315 %, 118 kills, 28 blocks) will look to lead the Pirates to victory.
NC State leads the overall series against East Carolina, 36-2, with the last meeting coming last season where the Pirates defeated the Wolfpack by the score of 3-1.
