Price Finishes Seventh in 5,000 Meters at NCAA Championships

Raleigh, N.C. - NC State sophomore Kristin Price earned All-American status with a seventh place finish in the womens's 5,000 meters at the 2002 Indoor Track & Field NCAA Championships. Price, who entered as the No. 1 seed, finished the race in 16:26.61. Also in that race, senior Amy Beykirch was 17th running a 17:29.93.
Price will return to action tomorrow at run in the 3,000 meters. Also in that race fo NC State will be senior Katie Sabino and sophomore Megan Coombs. In the high jump, Kristen Pace will compete for the Pack.
