Wolfpack Men Take Two In Tennis

Raleigh, N.C.--The NC State men's tennis squad defeated High Point 6-1 and Appalachian State 7-0 Saturday afternoon at the Wolfpack Tennis Center. The Wolfpack defeated the Panthers in the morning despite playing without sophomore Michael Carducci and freshman RJ Murray, who missed the singles competition because of a one-match academic suspension. NC State improved to 3-5 with the triumphs.
Matt Lucas, Ryan Boward, Bryce McGrory and Reinaldo Valor all picked up two singles victories on the day. The doubles teams of Boward and Jon Davis and McGrory and Murray also tallied a pair of doubles victories.
The Wolfpack will play on Sunday against Georgia State at noon at the Wolfpack Tennis Center.
