
Five NC State Players Named to All-ACC First Team

NC State is well represented on the All-ACC Football Team, which was released on Monday. A total of five Wolfpack players were named to the first team, while four others made the second team. NC State, ranked 20th in the Coaches Poll and No. 21 by AP, concluded a 10-3 season by knocking off Florida State Saturday night, 17-7.
NC State's first team selections were Terrence Holt (S), Jerricho Cotchery (WR), Sean Berton (TE), Dantonio Burnette (LB) and T.A. McLendon (RB), who was the only freshman named to the first team.
Elected to the second team were Philip Rivers (QB), Shane Riggs (OG), Chris Colmer (OG), and Shawn Price (DE).
The 2002 All-Atlantic Coast Conference football team as voted on by 74 members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. NOTE: A first-team vote was worth two points and second-team vote one.
