
Men's Soccer Blanked at Charlotte 2-0

Charlotte, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team was shutout by Charlotte 2-0 in the first game of the Big Four Tournament being hosted by Charlotte this weekend. Charlotte's Mira Mupier scored two first half goals, and keeper Daniel Burk picked up the shutout for the 49ers.
Charlotte struck first at the 25:26 mark with Mupier's goal off an assist from Floyd Franks. Exactly four minutes later, Mupier struck again with an unassisted goal. Charlotte improves to 8-5-1, and the Wolfpack falls to 4-10.
NC State will next play UNC Greensboro Sunday at 12:00 in Charlotte in the final game of the Bog Four Tournament.
