
Men's Soccer Downed By UNC Greensboro 2-1

Charlotte, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team fell to UNC Greensboro 2-1 in the final game of the Big Four Tournament hosted by Charlotte this weekend. The Spartans jumped out to a 2-0 lead, and NC State pulled within a goal, but could not get the equalizer in the final 15 minutes.
UNC Greensboro (9-7) got on the scoreboard first just one minute before halftime. James Carlson took a pass from Doug Prewett and scored at the 44:00 mark. UNCG would notch another goal early in the second half with Jeff Lochrie, using a Kenny Bundy assist, scored at the 50:12 mark.
NC State (4-11) cut the lead in half when UNCG was credited with an own goal at the 75:11 mark.
NC State will host East Carolina this Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Method Road
