NC State Volleyball Falls To Eastern Michigan

RALEIGH, N.C. - Cheryl Blok had 12 kills and nine digs to lead Eastern Michigan to a three-game victory over NC State on Sunday at the Indiana University-Purdue University (IUPUI) Volleyball Tournament in Indianapolis, Ind.
The Eagles took down the Wolfpack by scores of 30-22, 30-16 and 30-20 to improve to 2-0 on the young season. NC State, which opened the tournament with a win over Jacksonville State on Saturday, dropped to 1-1.
Senior outside hitter Charece Williams again led the Pack, racking up 10 kills, nine digs and a block. Senior middle blocker Alison Kreager had five kills and three blocks.
The Wolfpack will conclude play in the IUPUI Tournament on Sunday evening with a 7 o'clock match against the host IUPUI Jaguars, and then will play a 2 p.m. match on Labor Day Monday at Butler University.
