Track's Oglesby Named ACC Performer of the Week

Raleigh, N.C. -- NC State University's Isaiah Oglesby has just been named the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Performer of the Week for his performance this past weekend. Oglesby won the award twice during the indoor season, and is now honored with the first award of the outdoor season.

Oglesby, a sophomore from Granite Quarry, N.C., won the hammer throw and finished third in the discus at this past weekend's UNC Challenge Cup. His mark of 202'5" in the hammer broke his own school record set last season, and is also an NCAA provisional qualifying mark.

NC State will return to action this weekend, as the Pack hosts the Raleigh Relays. The Raleigh Relays feature over 100 participating schools, and are run all day Friday and Saturday.
