FSU Women's Tennis Knocks Off NC State, 6-1

Florida State took the first point of the day by winning all three of the doubles matches. NC State freshman Jackie Leskovar and sophomore Loni Worsley once again played tough against a ranked opponent at No. 1 but fell 8-6 to Florida Stateâ™s Samantha Schoeffel and Jessica Balbuena, currently 38th in the ITA doubles rankings.
In singles action Pack junior Katrina Gildemeister defeated the Seminolesâ™ Christina Denny 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 for the only NC State point of the day.
The Wolfpack returns to action when they host the 35th ranked Miami Hurricanes on Monday at the NC State Tennis Complex at 1:30 p.m.
