NC State Men's Tennis Disposes of UNC Asheville

Charlotte, N.C. (March 2) - The NC State men's tennis program picked up its second victory of the season as it defeated UNC Asheville, 7-0 on March 2 in Charlotte. The Pack, who will face UNC Charlotte that afternoon at 2:00 p.m., moved its record to 2-4 without even dropping a set against the Bulldogs. The loss dropped UNCA to 0-7 on the season.
Eric Jackson helped to lead NC State to victory. Jackson disposed of Andrew Herman, 6-1, 6-0, in No. 1 singles action before teaming up with Keith Jackson at No. 1 doubles and defeating Herman and Stephen Poulos, 8-1.
Following the matches versus the UNCC 49ers (4-1), NC State will return home and host Appalachian State. That match, set to being at 9:00 a.m. on March 4, will be held at the Wolfpack Tennis Complex.
