Maryland Downs NC State Volleyball In Five Games

RALEIGH, N.C. (Oct. 17) -- Maryland rallied from a 9-4 deficit in the fifth and final game to defeat NC State in Atlantic Coast Conference volleyball action Oct. 17 at Reynolds Coliseum. The Terps lost the first and third games of the match, but rallied to defeat the Wolfpack 10-15, 15-13, 12-15, 15-10 and 15-13.

The victory lifts Maryland to 13-8 overall and 4-5 in the ACC. NC State drops to 7-14 overall and 1-8 in the conference.

The Wolfpack will be back in action this weekend, taking on Virginia on Friday at 7:30 p.m., and Florida State on Saturday at 6 p.m. The Saturday game with the Seminoles will be Senior Night for Wolfpack seniors Stephanie Stambaugh and Meredith Price. Both matches will be at Reynolds Coliseum.
