RALEIGH, NC - NC State has announced that the volleyball match versus High Point, which was originally scheduled to be held on Monday, September 27, has been postponed. The match, which was to start at 7:00 PM, had to be put on hold due to unforeseen maintenance that needed to be completed to the playing surface in Reynolds Coliseum.
NC State head coach Kim Hall, who is currently on the road with the team as they prepare to open their ACC schedule tonight against Maryland, had not heard back from High Point Coach Georgette Crawford and wasn't sure if the match would be rescheduled or not. "I'm waiting to hear back from Georgette," said Hall. "Once I do we'll decide if we'll just postpone the match, play it on High Point's campus or cancel it. I'm really not sure what will happen at this point."
The High Point match is the only game that appears to be effected at this point. The playing surface in Reynolds Coliseum is expected to in playing condition for the Pack's next home contest against ACC foe, Wake Forest.
That match is scheduled for Friday, October 1, at 7:00 PM.
