Mack Whitehurst joined the NC State Football Equipment Staff in 2026 as an assistant equipment manager. He is responsible for helping coordinate the equipment needs of the NC State Football team and plays a key role in the daily management of the equipment room.
Before stepping into his current role, Whitehurst spent three years as an intern for the Carolina Panthers Equipment Department. Prior to that experience, he served the NC State Football Equipment Room as both a graduate assistant and a student manager.
Originally from Beulaville, N.C., Whitehurst graduated from NC State in 2022 with a bachelor's in business administration. He has been a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association since 2025. He currently lives in Raleigh with his dog, Miss Moo.
