Dan Dardarian was announced as the director of video/scouting for the NC State women's basketball program in July 2026.
Dardarian joins the Wolfpack with nearly 10 years of NCAA Division I men’s and women’s basketball experience. He spent the last season with Indiana women’s basketball as the team and recruitment analyst.
Prior to his time in Bloomington, Dardarian was the assistant director of operations for Vanderbilt men’s basketball during the 2023-24 season. He spent the two prior seasons, from 2021-23, as the director of video and scouting for the SMU women’s basketball program.
Before his time in Dallas, Dardarian spent three seasons, 2018-21, with the Michigan women’s basketball program as the video coordinator. The Wolverines had advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 for the first time in school history in 2021.
Dardarian became the first video coordinator at IMG Academy prior to the 2014-15 season and before his time in college athletics. He managed a video database of more than 400 games per season, while also coordinating schedules and assisting with pro days.
A Michigan native, Dardarian earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Oakland in 2008 and a master’s in sports administration from Wayne State in 2011. As an undergrad at Oakland, Dardarian worked as a student assistant for the men’s basketball program.
Dardarian also served as a high school coach at Brother Rice and West Bloomfield. At Brother Rice, the Warriors won back-to-back MHSAA district titles in 2010 and 2011.
