Cody Dukquits joined the NC State men's basketball coaching staff as the head strength and conditioning coach in May 2026.
Dukquits joins the Pack after three seasons with the South Florida men’s basketball program as the strength and conditioning coach.
Prior to USF, Dukquits spent five years at Stephen F. Austin as the assistant director of sports performance. In that role, he oversaw strength and conditioning for the men’s basketball and golf programs while also managing the Johnson Coliseum weight room and serving as co-internship coordinator for the Sports Performance department.
Dukquits came to SFA following a two-year stint on the strength and conditioning staff at Georgia Southern. Hired in March 2016, he worked with the men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer and football programs.
Dukquits began his strength and conditioning career as an intern at Texas A&M, where he worked with the Aggies’ men’s basketball program. He was part of the 2015-16 team that won the SEC Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen, capping a historic season for the program.
A 2012 graduate of Texas Christian University, Dukquits earned his bachelor’s degree in movement science before receiving his master’s degree in sports physiology from Texas A&M in 2014.
Dukquits is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and in CPR/AED. He and his wife, Melissa, married in December 2014 and have two sons, Barrett and Maverick.
