Cody Armstrong

Armstrong has spent two seasons in Raleigh, as he joined the Wolfpack's Sport Medicine team in the summer of 2024 as the primary trainer for the wrestling program.
He played a crucial role in helping Isaac Trumble recover from his major knee injury in March of 2025 to then be able to claim the heavyweight national title at the 2026 NCAAs in Cleveland just a year later.
The Bellingham, Washington native brings almost a decade of experience with him as he previously worked at Air Force (2021-24) and Chattanooga (2018-21), interned at Washington State (2017-18), and was a graduate assistant at Eastern Michigan (2015-17).
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Washington State University and a Master of Science in Sport Management from Eastern Michigan.Â
In his free time he enjoys golfing, fishing, and hunting.
