2016-17: Redshirted the season … Wrestled in three open tournaments, two at 184 pounds and one at 197 … Went 13-2 overall … Finished second at the Midlands Championships at 184 pounds … Went 4-2, including a 9-2 win over 2016 NCAA Champion and #4 Myles Martin of Ohio State … Placed first in the Wolfpack Open at 197 pounds, going 5-0 with one ranked win … Also first at the National Collegiate Open with a 4-0 mark, outscoring his foes 47-8.

2013-14: Pack’s started at 174 pounds as a freshman … 2014 NCAA Qualifier … Named the No. 2 rookie nationally at 174 pounds by Amateur Wrestling News … Finished the year 27-11, including 16-3 in duals … 27 wins are the third-most for a freshman in NC State history … One of two NCSU wrestlers to be ranked majority of season … Finished third on the Pack with 27 wins, 16 dual wins were second-best and six pins were also second-best … Went 12-1 in bonus point matches … Earned one of the three ACC automatic bids at 174 pounds, entered as the third seed and went 3-1 to finish third … Had to win final two bouts to earn NCAA bid, won 4-0 in the consolation semifinals and then 5-0 in third place match … Placed seconds in the Wolfpack Open … Earned medalist honors at the FILA Junior Championships at 79 KG … Went a perfect 5-0 en route to title … Outscored opponents 54-2 in tournament, including a 13-2 decision in championship bout … Named to the 2014 All-ACC Academic Team … Named to the 2013-14 ACC Honor Roll … Named to NWCA True Freshman All-Academic Team.
