Will Conlon joined the North Carolina State University Sports Medicine staff in July 2012. He works primarily with Wolfpack Wrestling program. The Mebane, N.C. native, received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from High Point University in 2008, which is the first program in the country to be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). After graduating from High Point, Conlon completed his Masters of Science in Sports Medicine from Georgia State University in 2010.
Conlon is no stranger to the Atlantic Coast Conference; he served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Georgia Tech, while completing his Master's Degree. As a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Georgia Tech, he worked with the Yellow Jacket Football and Swimming & Diving teams. Conlon has also completed a summer NFL internship with the Carolina Panthers and a seasonal NFL internship with the Atlanta Falcons.
Prior to joining NC State, Conlon was an Athletic Trainer and Accredited Clinical Instructor at High Point University in 2011, where he worked with the Panther Volleyball and Track & Field teams.
Conlon is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and North Carolina Athletic Trainers' Association. He has received his Board of Certification and is licensed to practice as a Certified Athletic Trainer in the state of North Carolina. Conlon is also credentialed by the state of North Carolina as an Emergency Medical Techincian (Intermediate/Advanced).
Will currently resides in Raleigh with his wife Whitney. In his free time he is an avid hockey fan and enjoys outdoor sports.
