• Stepped into the lineup at Jersey Jostle in November, competed in duals against ranked opponents from Princeton and Rutgers
• Wrestled in six tournaments - three attached: Battle at The Citadel, Journeymen's Collegiate Classic, and Cliff Keen Invitational, and three unattached: Appalachian State Open, Newberry Open (3rd place), and Wildcat Open (1st place)
• Posted an 3-7 record on his attached matches
• Tallied two bonus point wins - two major decisions
2023-24 - REDSHIRT FRESHMAN
• Competed in the 184 pound weight class.
• Saw action at the Patriot Open in December.
2022-23 - FRESHMAN
• Redshirted his freshman season.
• Saw action at the Appalachian Open and Newberry Open at 184 lbs.

• Studying Criminal Justice.
• Younger brother of NC State’s 2018 197-pound national champion Michael Macchiavello.

• Reached the North Carolina 3A quarterfinals as a junior after he won the Midwest regional championship.
• Played football as a defensive lineman. Had 58 tackles as a senior. Was also a thrower on the track and field team.
