Bio
2011 Fall Results
- Competed in two fall tournaments, the Elon Fall Invitational and the Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Athens, Ga.
- Won two singles matches in the Division III singles consolation draw at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships after a first-round loss.
- Paired with Mauricio Antun of Virginia Tech in a blind draw, won three doubles matches before falling in the Division II quarterfinals.
2010-11 Results
- Did not compete in singles during the spring.
- Played in two doubles matches.
- Compiled a record of 3-4 in singles during the fall.
2009-10 Results
- Took down Dexter McDowell of Norfolk State in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1.
- Partnered with David Chermak to beat No. 3 doubles teams from Norfolk State and UNC Asheville.
- Ended the fall at 2-5 in singles and 1-2 in doubles play.
2008-09 Results
- Redshirted the season.
High School Career
- Four-time letterwinner in high school and served as team captain his senior year.
- Helped his team to a 95-5 record the four years he was in high school.
- Won the NCHSAA 2-A singles championships in 2006, 2007, and 2008.
- Named conference player of the year for mid-state 2A in 2007 and 2008.
- Was the tournament MVP for 2008 state championship.
- Also named a Raleigh Sports Club player of the week and a Gatorade high school player of the week in 2008.
- The News & Observer named him the player of the year for 2008.
- Was all-conference in 2005-08 and all-state in 2006-08.
