Men’s Tennis Alumnus, Luca Staeheli Competes in World University Games

RHINE-RUHR, Germany – NC State men's tennis recent alumnus Luca Staeheli reached the round of eight in both singles and doubles while competing for Switzerland in the 2025 MISU World University Games in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany.
Being a native of Wollerau, Staeheli was able to represent Team Switzerland in the games and even teamed up with a fellow ACC competitor and Zurich native Dylan Dietrich, who competes for Virginia, for doubles action.
"I feel very fortunate that I could be part of such an amazing event", Staeheli said. "I am happy with my level throughout the tournament and had so much fun getting to know other Swiss athletes and watching them compete. It always feels great to represent Team Switzerland."
Staeheli reached the round of eight in both doubles and singles action.
