High School:Â Lettered in softball for four seasons, splitting time at East Rowan and Central Cabarrus under head coaches Mike Waddell, Monte Sherill and Kristi Killough ... Served at three positions, pitching and playing third base and shortstop ... Named a team captain as a senior ... Put up an astounding 0.26 ERA with a 25-1 record in 2007 ... Helped lead her squad to back-to-back conference championships and a 2007 conference tournament title ... Named all-conference four times, all-state twice, all-county twice and all-district twice ... Collected conferece and district pitcher of the year honors three times ... Competed alongside current Wolfpack teammate Bethaney Wells at Central Cabarrus ...
