Softball Lands Program Record 10 Student-Athletes on All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE – The NC State softball team landed a program record 10 student-athletes on the 2025 All-ACC Academic team, as released by the conference office Thursday afternoon.
Earning the honor for the Wolfpack are: Hannah Church, Taylor Ensley, Tori Ensley, Ellie Goins, Carly Maxton, Kendall Simmers, Lisey St. Jean, Michele Tarpey, Teagan Thrunk, and Ellington Whitaker.
2025 marks the third consecutive year that Taylor Ensley and Goins earn a spot on the list while the honor is the first for Church, Maxton, Simmers, St. Jean and Whitaker.
Academic requirements for selection are a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative GPA during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their teams' contests and pitchers must compete in 20 percent of the team's contests.
